The last two weeks have been somewhat difficult in getting motivated. I've been trying to balance schedules at work and working out while trying to figure out what to do with sick kids at the same time. :-) Swimming is probably the most enjoyable right now because it's the least jarring on my legs. It makes sense because I started using free weights and am targeting on building my leg muscles. After the first session I thought my legs were going to fall off out of spite. Ouch! I do feel stronger already and my six mile run last night felt really good. It sure helped that it was in the 40s and was very comfortable temperature-wise. My core workouts are still helping but I really need to get them back on schedule instead of just peppering them in here and there. It's easier to miss them that way.
