Brief out(r)age

To any of you who have tried to call us in the last fews days you might have noticed that we have not been reachable so to speak. No, we are not off on some exotic vacation sipping pina coladas on a beach. We have also not installed a fax machine on our home phone number (which is what it sounds like--sorry about your ear). We are all doing good and actually missing you all quite a bunch. Apparantly Vonage, the VoIP company with the cute ads that Eddie and Claire like to dance to, can't seem outsource their way out of the problem. All of the 20 customer care/techs that we have talked to in the South Asian country half way around the world have paused from their script and have finally informed us that they are working on the problem and it should be taken care of in 24 hours (that was three days ago).

If you would like to get ahold of us at all please call us on the cell phone or email Doug or myself.

Update: So as it turns out some company has taken our phone number and is using it for a fax machine...thus the annoying noise. This is a little troubling mostly because we are unable to receive any calls to our phone, especially those that fall in the "emergency contact" category. I don't know how a company can simply take our phone number but there it is. Oh the injustice! We will keep you updated.

That is sooooo annoying. How can a company just take your phone number? The nerve!
