We are embracing triathlon off-season by trying to distract ourselves completely with other things... like moving.
Doug and I have gotten completely sick of driving into Kalamazoo at least once sometimes upwards of three times a day depending on how much running around we have to do that we came to the realization that ... we live our lives in Kalamazoo...maybe we should just live there.
We've put a bid on a house (that was accepted this afternoon) in town that is directly across the street from the elementary school where we were able to get Eddie into this fall. We are super excited and can't wait to make the move. It'll be so nice to be able to ride our bikes to work and have at least an extra hour in the day that won't require putting the pedal to the metal.
The house is about the same size as what we have right now with a considerably smaller yard (which is just fine with the mower of the family). In fact, the coolest thing about our house is that the front lawn is a playground and someone else takes care of it. I think the thing I'm most excited about is the laundry chute! How did we live without that for so long?
